I just read that enough people sent complaints about the "Veronica Mars" DVD cover to the Tvshowsondvd site, that WB actually listened and changed it for the better...perhaps the same would work for this cover? Send enough complaints through Digital bits, DVDanswers, DavisDVD, this site...
It's obviously not the same studio, but you never know.

When the Bill Paxton rerun was on, I taped it for two reasons: the Carrie spoof at the beginning and the Titanic spoof where Brock, Lizzie, and everyone else beats the crap out of Old Rose.

"I just wanted to ride in a helicopter before I died. Whee... oh!"

So, has anyone confirmed whats on the 4th euro disk? Is it the soundtrack only?

If its better, anyone know where to pre-order it?

I can almost confirm that the US edition won't have DTS.

I don't know about the European 4-disc set, but it looks like the US version is just DD.

If only Paramount would just issue a final press release...!

I hope we get a preview of Aquaman.

Yeah, it is kind of lame when you think about it. Titanic is the highest grossing film of all-time both domestically and worldwide (and 6th highest when you adjust or inflation). It was a Best Picture winner, won more oscars than any other film in history (tied with Ben-Hur and LOTR: ROTK) and holds the record for most total oscar nominations (14). As a film, it was probably the biggest cultural phenomenon since Star Wars. 3 discs is a bit stingy for a film of this magnitude, especially since the actual film is spread over the first two. Windtalkers and Hellboy both have 3-Disc sets with 2 discs dedicated solely to extras and aren't half as popular as Titanic (likewise for the Pearl Harbor Vista Series). With all the myriad documentaries that are available, you'd think a 4-Disc set would be a given. Granted this is still worlds better than the current release, and will certainly suffice, but it would have been nice if they went the whole 9 yards for this release.

They better have a good hour-long making-of documentary. I'd like to have another 1 hr. historical doc included, but could live without it since there are plenty already available to buy separately. I really can't understand why region 1 gets screwed all the time... it seems like it's the same thing with automobiles... other countries always get the better versions. Fuck you Paramount!!!

Knowing these money-grubbing SOBs who run Hollywood, they're gonna release the crappy 3-disc, wait two years, and release the 10th Anniversary Four-Disc Deluxe Edition.
